I was feeling a bit housewifey today so decided to bake a cake. Fancied the standard chocolate cake but jazzed it up with a bit of chilli and cinnamon to give it some festive warmth, and sprinkled toasted chopped nuts on top of the icing to give it a bit of crunch. Lovely!
